CHASED BY LOVE
Love in Bloom: The Ryders #3
Melissa Foster
Releasing Aug 17th, 2016
World Literary Press

Actress Trish Ryder takes her job seriously and has no time for those who don’t. When she’s awarded a major role in a new movie featuring America’s hottest rock star, Boone Stryker, she’s beyond excited. The six-two, tattooed hunk of burning desire is known for his dedication to his craft—but when he ditches their first meeting, she begins to wonder if he’s just another rocker with a great PR team.

Sex, booze, women, and music pretty much sum up Boone Stryker’s private world. He’s coasted through life playing by his own rules with plenty of people willing to cover his tracks, and he’s not likely to change—until he meets a woman who refuses to give him the time of day, much less anything more.

Sparks fly from the first moment Trish and Boone meet—Tensions run hot and desire runs hotter when they’re trapped together on a remote location with no place to hide. Will sparks ignite, or will a hurricane douse the flames?

Review:

Melissa Foster knows how to write a sweet romance and some very likable heroines. I was taken by a pleasant surprise when Boone revealed some things about himself in the beginning of the book. He is different from almost all the other rock stars I had the pleasure to read about. He doesn't exactly fit the rock star stereotype which is weird and refreshing the same time. The only part I didn't like or to be more precise, it left me frustrated was the lack of a chapter where Boone and Trish are at the Oscar's and hopefully Trish wins. I don't think I missed the mention of an oscar. I really want to have t confirmed that she got one. She and Boone worked so hard for that movie, especially Boone who had to get past his demons.

For me Chased by love belongs in the sweet romance category with a tortured hero and a heroine who is going to help/save him. I liked the relationship they had and they kept me glued to the book. As I am writing this review I keep thinking about the epilogue (again it was super sweet) and one part close to the end which I can't tell you anything about because it will spoil the some part of the story. I liked both of those parts for two different reasons. Trish proved to be the very likeable and level headed heroine I knew she was and I melted in the epilogue. As a good epilogue junkie that I am I approve of this one. I hope I will see these two in the next book.

I will definitely recommend Chased by love to the readers and I hope they will enjoy it as much as I did.
