Did the book really had to end with a cliffhanger? Noooooo. The author just wants to torture her poor readers. At least the wait won't be long. January 2017 is not that far away. Towards the end, I knew that there was no way the author could give Matt and Charlotte's a decent ending and those last sentences confirmed that. I got too invested in Charlotte and Matt, I even forgot a couple of problems I had with this book.

I am starting to think that Matt is going to change everything in the USA if he becomes the president. People treat him like he has like the Messiah and Charlotte joined his campaign after decided that Matt is the right man to make her country a better place for her children and grandchildren. I hope that in the next book Matt will be a little more focused on his joys tob than finding wa seduce or stay away from Charlotte. My other problem is the first lady thing. Why was so important the fact that Matt didn't have a wife? Is the first lady so important? As a non US resident, I don't understand it. From the begging people have made a big deal about the fact that Matt is single. His decision to marry America was a good one.

The story is mostly focused on the romance between Matt and Charlotte and how that is affected by Matt's choice of a career. The author included some stuff a candidate would do, but the main focus is on the way our couple fell for each other.

I don't think I will love Matt as much as I have loved Remi. Matt is a great guy, but he didn't manage to win me over. I am hoping to fall for him in the second book. He has a lot of potential, but I just couldn't seem to love him. I like him though and that's a start. Charlotte on the other hand was a heroine I liked. She is passionate and kind. I hope she won't give up on Matt when things get tough. And I hope Matt won't give up on her. Why can't they keep doing what they are doing if Matt gets into the White House? Seriously the second book must be released very soon because the more I think about this book, the more I want the second part.

Mr. President is a definite yes for me. The characters were very likable, the story was flowing nicely and I believe this book is another gem by Katy Evans. Now I am ending this review because I have to play to get an arc for the next book, to end this torture sooner. I need to know what happens next.
