Blog tour: Mastering Her Senses (Blasphemy, #2) by Laura Kaye

Decadent… Sensual… Forbidden…

12 Masters. 12 Desires. 12 Fantasies Come to Life. Meet the Masters of Blasphemy…

About MASTERING HER SENSES (Blasphemy #2, 2/21/17):

12 Masters. Infinite fantasies. Welcome to Blasphemy…

He wants to dominate her senses—and her heart…

Quinton Ross has always been a thrill-seeker—so it’s no surprise that he’s drawn to extremes in the bedroom and at his BDSM club, Blasphemy, where he creates sense- depriving scenarios that blow submissives’ minds. Now if he could just find one who needs the rush as much as him…

When an accident leaves Cassia Locke with a paralyzing fear of the dark, she’ll try anything to get help. Ready to fight, she knows just who to ask for help—the hard-bodied, funny-as-hell Dom she’d always crushed on—and once stood up.

Quinton is shocked and a little leery to see Cassia, but he can’t pass up the chance to dominate the alluring little sub this time. Introducing her to sensory deprivation becomes his new favorite obsession, and watching her fight fear is its own thrill. But when doubt threatens to send her running again, Quinton must find a way to master her senses—and her heart.

Review:

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

Laura Kaye is one of the authors whose books I always enjoy. Mastering her senses was a good book, but I feel like it could have been better. I am always in for a crossover, but this time I felt like the story should have been more focused on Quinton and Cassia's relationship and especially her fear of the dark. I am not saying that the crossover wasn't good, but I wanted to see less of the Ravens and more of the main couple. I don't my little knowledge on the Ravens (Haven't read the series yet) played a part in my feelings, but I wasn't overly excited about seeing them. I might have not liked the ravens as much as I should have, but it was a pleasure seeing again the characters from the previous book. Kenna seemed to me like a mother hen. I really like her. Cassia was also very like able and nice person with a very interesting profession. Hopefully Olivia will also be a good heroine.  I am not not worried on the chemistry she will have with Wolf because so far all the couples had an amazing chemistry. Cassia and Quinton had a very sweet and steamy relationship and I am looking forward towards seeing them in the next book. I loved their relationship and how Quinton helped Cassia to get over her fears, even if I didn't get to see as much of it as I wanted. For me Mastering her senses is another great book.
