Review:

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars

Too hot to handle is s stand-alone novel in the Jupiter Point series. Cassie, the only female Knight sibling is about to get her happy ending with lots of drama in the second half of her story. The thing that bothered me the most is the way Cassie acted when Kevin sort of broke things with her. For one, I didn't feel like his text was saying that he wanted to break up with her, just that he had a crisis he had to deal with. Second, how I am supposed to believe that she loved him when not even an hour after receiving said text she thinks about going on a vacation and finding a surfer boy to have fun and dance horizontally with? Is that what people in love are supposed to think after a break-up? I think not. Kevin wasn't perfect either, but for me, he was a better character. I hated the deal he had with his daughter because it seemed like a punishment. Kevin is supposed not to date anyone until his daughtered turned 18. What if he had lost his chance at true love because of that? Holly, his daughter is actually acting a 15-year-old and not the good kind. I didn't like her from the very first time she appeared to be honest and things got worse over time. All my complains are about the second half of the book. I actually enjoyed the first half and I am giving it 5 stars. The second half gets 1 star and that makes it a final solid 3-star rating.
