Review:
Amore part 2 begins about 9 months after the first part ended. Raphael and Julietta are still apart and she has just given birth to their child. She is forced to get in Raphaels life again when the person who is blackmailing her forces her to. He might be the bad guy, but I don't know how these two would have gotten back together of it wasn't for him. The story isn't focused on Julietta and Raphaels romance, but on what she has to do in order to protect her child. I was hoping to see her spending more time with her baby, but the only thing I read about was how much time she was missing away from it.
The author connected this series to the Jokers' Wrath MC. I haven't read those books yet, but I think some of you will appreciate it if you have read the series. For some time I thought their role in this book wasn't important, but once everything unfolded I realized why the author introduced them.
I was expecting more from this book. It didn't blow my mind, but at least I didn't find it difficult to read.I would have liked to see our couple spending a little time alone with their baby. The book starting with Julietta giving birth, most of it was the betrayal plot and then the story ended with after everything went down. I don't care that this is a mafia book. I wanted these two to have some tender moments together. The book wasn't a disaster and it was a decent sequel to part one. I like Bella Jewels writing and I will continue reading her books. I wonder if Juliettas friend will also get a story. I would really like to read that.
