After the cliffhanger of Real Dirty, I was very eager to see what the author planned for the conclusion of Boone and Ripley's story and I wasn't disappointed with the ending result. What made me the happiest in this book is the closure we got on the story behind the murder of Ripley's mother. It was nice to see that the authors (in general) don't forget about the secondary storylines and pay them some attention. Everything that's happening in this book is big and you don't want to miss the ride.
If I remember correctly 4 couples from the author's other works appear in this book. I wasn't expecting to see a couple from the Beneath series appear in this book. I am guessing that the readers who are familiar with the series will be very excited about this, but I couldn't help but wonder how many people will have to be fit in in a couple of years after the author has released 10-15 books. I bet their meet up will be on a soccer field. Even if I wasn't able to receive all those additions with a good attitude my heart melted when I saw Creighton with his daughter. If we could only get another story with him and his daughter....
You don't need me to convince you that Boone is an alpha male who wants to protect the woman he loves. You also don't need me to tell you that Ripley is stubborn and feisty. What you need me to tell you is that the book was good and you won't regret reading it.
