NIGHTS AT SEASIDE
Sweet with Heat: Seaside Summers #6
Addison Cole
Releasing Dec 13, 2017

Sky Lacroux has finally realized her dream and opened her own tattoo shop in Provincetown, Massachusetts. She’s happy as can be, preparing the shop for its grand opening and renting a cottage in the Seaside community while renovations to her new apartment are being completed. The only thing missing is the one thing she longs for, and has no control over—love.

Sawyer Bass, a professional boxer, plays his guitar at a local bar to escape the painful reality of his father’s deteriorating health and a recent health warning of his own. But when he spots a stunning brunette across the room, escaping reality goes out the window, and the beautiful woman becomes the focus of his next song—and maybe even the rest of his life.

When Sawyer walks into Sky’s tattoo shop and sees the woman from the bar—Sky—the chemistry between them is instant. Sawyer is everything Sky could ever hope for in a man. He’s honest, loving, sensitive, and potently virile—but boxing goes against everything Sky believes in. The closer they become, the more she realizes that her alpha boxer is waging his own emotional battle—only the battle she thinks he’s waging isn’t the one that threatens to tear them apart.

Nights at Seaside is the sweet edition of the steamy romance novel Seaside Nights by Melissa Foster

Review:

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

I was reading this book in every place that I could! I didn't have the time to finish the book in one sitting, but I was trying to read a couple of chapters every time I took a break. I loved Sky and Sawyer's story and I wanted them to keep me company wherever they could. To be honest, though, I didn't like some two parts of the story. The first thing is Sky's reaction to Sawyer's boxing and the kind of ultimatum she gave him felt irrational and a little too dram heavy for me. Sawyer put himself in danger because he wanted to provide his father with the care he needed. That was noble and I have to admit a little dangerous, but I had faith in him. The second thing I didn't like was the whole P-Town poet. First of all, I couldn't believe that so many people wanted to get the words of an unknown person on their body. Sky made it seem like people were getting them all the time which made the whole situation unbelievable. Second, I didn't understand why Sky got mad at Sawyer for not saying that he is the P-Town poet when she invented that nickname and never explained to him the whole situation. Half of this book is Sky overacting and this is the reason I am giving this book a 4-star rating instead of my usual 5. The rest of the book was good, but the heroine had some bad moments that tainted the story. The Seaside gang is one of my favorites, so I enjoyed the book and I can't wait for the next one.
