If you have read some of my reviews you will already know that I loved most of the books I have read from Melissa Foster. Embraced at seaside is not one of those books unfortunately. I didn't hate the heroine, but it was a close call since she was always pushing Hunter away. Up 'till the last 2 chapters, I felt like their relationship was going nowhere and I wanted to see Hunter moving on or at least trying to until Jana realized that Hunter must be kept at all costs. He is a great guy and since I never felt like she appreciated him, I can have him and she can have her loneliness. It will be a fair switch. Her past didn't really justify her behavior.
I want to see a story with Clark and his wife Nina. Their problems are a big part of this book and I feel like we deserve a story with the two of them as they work things out. It would have helped if we actually saw Nina for a scene or two. The book wasn't that bad. I loved Hunter more than I disliked Jana, so that's something. The rest of the story was good and I liked the author's writing (as I usually do). I would recommend the book.
