Review:
Rating: 4 out of 5 stars
I have to be honest here. I didn't try any of the recipes, but few seemed interesting so I bookmarked them. Also, I didn't bother reading Reece and Jenna's short story because as some of you might know, I hate these two. Jenna deserved better. Now, that I have gotten these two things off my chest I can begin my review.
I liked this collaboration between the two authors. I agree that the recipes and the bar worked well and it's a good combination. We have two short stories between the recipes and I was happy with one of them. I have to admit that I was a little worried when it came to Nolla's actions and it pains me to say it. He was the perfect man. Maybe Shelby's worries got into my head. Their very short story was good and I loved it. Spencer and Brooke also have a story and I liked it a lot. My heart stopped a little a something Spencer said, but he made things up a few seconds later.
We also have a bigger, but still short story about two secondary characters who work at the bar. Tiffany and Eric had chemistry and I enjoyed their story. The only thing I didn't like about this story is that we were never told if the heroine had slept with Ben aka the hero's brother. I am not into this kind of story. That uncertainty is the reason why I am giving 4 stars to the story. The recipes and Nolan and Spencer's stories get 5 stars and Reece's 0 which is why my final rating for this book is 4 stars.
